Management System Development & Audit
We started of by conducting a gap analysis audit to identify critical gaps within their organisation. We then liased with the general manager and other interested parties to ensure that information of the work required is communicated across the organisation.
Once we received the go ahead, we started developing the safety management system which started with plans & policies and then led into procedures, forms and checklists. When we developed the tailored safety management system we took into account the nature or work the organisation conducts, liaised with workers to communicate change and asked for specialist input which aided in the development and implementation of a high quality management system that will actually be used across the organisation.
Once we completed the development of the management system, we liaised with staff to clearly and concisely explain and describe the purpose of each section included in the management system along with procedures, plans and policies sorted into order for the ease of access in the future.
Risk Register and Management System Software transfer
A large component of compliance is to systematically and successfully manage risks in the workplace. From the positive feedback received from Marsmen in the development and implementation process of the management system, they asked us to develop their risk register within their online safety management system software. We adapted to changed, liaised with the software partners to identify how the program works and developed the risk register to ensure it is easily and methodically set out for all employees and upper management to understand. From the development of the risk register, they were able to automatically generate SWMS by selecting risks using their software.
Marsmen Plumbing & Gas are extremely happy with the results they achieved in a matter of time and have asked us to conduct further work with them to conduct ongoing maintenance and implementation of their safety management system to maintain and exceed compliance.
